Taking the Initiative to Lead
Leadership is a two-way street. I enjoy leading others towards a common goal, but I also believe that effective leadership is knowing when and how to follow the lead of others. A few characteristics that I see as effective leadership qualities include enthusiasm, responsibility, flexibility, and teamwork. When a leader is personally passionate about the project, that passion has a way of seeping into the hearts of others. A leader who displays responsibility and trustworthiness establishes a professional and respectful relationship with his or her colleagues while collaboration allows for different perspectives and helps bring a sense of worth to each member of the group.

do more, and become more, you are leader."
